Who Is Walmart?

Walmart is one of the largest retailers in the United States, a one-stop source for groceries, household essentials and general merchandise across its stores and Walmart.com. Its scale means low base prices on a huge range of goods, but the layer that turns Walmart into a genuine savings engine for regular shoppers is Walmart+, the paid membership that bundles delivery, shipping and fuel perks into a single subscription. The membership costs $98 a year or $12.95 a month, and it earns its keep through convenience-driven savings: free shipping with no order minimum from Walmart.com, free same-day delivery on eligible orders over $35 (waiving the usual $7.95-$9.95 delivery fee), member fuel savings of 10 cents per gallon at participating stations, and even free video streaming through a bundled Paramount+ or Peacock benefit. Walmart lowers the barrier to trying it with a 30-day free trial, and eligible shoppers can access Walmart+ Assist at 50% off, bringing the price down to $49 a year or $6.47 a month. Everyday value is reinforced by free 90-day returns on most items, which removes risk from online buying. Walmart is best for households that shop frequently for groceries and essentials and would benefit from folding delivery, shipping and fuel discounts into one membership, particularly those who can start with the free trial or qualify for the discounted Assist rate to test whether the perks outpace the fee. Deals above are taken from Walmart's own website and checked before we publish them.

Using Your Walmart Promo Code

Sign in to your Walmart account in the app or on Walmart.com, then add Walmart+ to unlock free shipping with no order minimum and free same-day delivery on eligible orders over $35, both of which apply automatically at checkout once you are a member. If you would rather test it first, start the 30-day free trial before committing to the $98/year or $12.95/month price. Eligible members can enroll in Walmart+ Assist for 50% off, lowering the cost to $49/year or $6.47/month. For fuel savings, check in at a participating station through the Walmart app so the 10 cents per gallon member discount applies at the pump. Members can also activate the bundled free video streaming benefit (Paramount+ or Peacock). Most items purchased in stores or on Walmart.com are covered by free 90-day returns, so keep your receipt and manufacturer packaging; note Marketplace-seller items generally carry a shorter 30-day window.

Shipping Policy

Walmart+ members get free shipping with no order minimum from Walmart.com and free same-day delivery on eligible items with a $35 order minimum (the $7.95-$9.95 delivery fee is waived). Orders under $35 are charged a $6.99 minimum order fee. Non-members pay standard shipping and delivery fees.

Return Policy

Walmart offers free 90-day returns on most items purchased in stores or on Walmart.com. Keep manufacturer packaging and your receipt for at least 90 days. Some categories have exceptions, and items sold by Marketplace sellers generally have a 30-day return window.
