Editorial & Verification Policy
How we source, review and label the deals we publish.
Where our coupons come from
Every store and offer on CouponSearch is collected from the retailer’s own official website or app — its deals page, rewards program, weekly ad, or email/offer pages. We do not copy offers from other coupon sites, and we record a source link for each offer so it can be checked.
How we label offers
- Verified — an offer we have confirmed on the retailer’s own official source. Verified offers show the source link we found them on and the date we last checked it.
- Pending review — a newly collected offer we have not yet confirmed against the retailer’s source. It is labelled “pending review” until we do.
- Expired — an offer that has passed its end date or stopped working. It is moved to the expired list and hidden from the active offers.
“Verified” means the offer was present on the retailer’s official source on the date shown — not that we tested it against a live cart, and we do not publish made-up “success rate” figures. The label on each card always reflects its real status.
How we keep offers current
We refresh our data on a schedule: re-importing from each retailer’s sources, expiring offers past their end date, and flagging offers that haven’t been re-confirmed recently for another review. Dates shown on a store page reflect the most recent update we have for that store.
How we make money
CouponSearch does not use affiliate links and earns no commission when you click through to a retailer — outbound links are plain links. The site is supported by advertising. This means our listings and rankings are chosen purely on merit.
